More about me...
I was born and raised in Guangzhou (Canton), China. I was originally from the Hainan Island. Before moving to the UK and joining the machine learning group at Cambridge, I worked on different projects in my undergraduate years, and graduated with a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the Dept. of Mathematics, Sun Yat-sen University, China, in June 2013. Before that I studied at Zhixin High School in Guangzhou.
I have a twin sister Yinghong (映虹) who now works as a CV & ML research engineering lead at ByteDance AI Lab (字节跳动人工智能实验室). ByteDance is a rising Chinese tech giant that develops TikTok and Toutiao apps with AI technologies.
